    Wat is een ruimteschipPipo and Mammaloe bump into Pipo's sister Plom who is having her caravan fixed. Plom has been wondering where laughter goes after it leaves your mouth. Pipo thinks it goes up into space. By pure coincidence, the mechanic Ben Ziene has built himself a rocket-ship shaped like a big fat chicken, De Pollo 1. It is powered by Atoom Spliterten (atomic peas).

    Pas op, daar komen zePipo, Plom and Ben Ziene have taken off in the Pollo 1 rocket. Mamaloe breaks into the NOS news studio to ask Pipo to return home in time for diner. De Pollo 1 gets caught in a laughter storm and lands on the Laughter planet, where all the giggles and bellows from earth have blossomed into flowers.

    Voor een taaie torThe inhabitants of the Laughter planet are all afraid of Dikta Tor. Who comes out at night (which falls twice a day on the laughter planet) to eat all their flowers. Pipo and Ben Ziene go out after dark to try and capture Tor's henchmen, Grim & Hoon.

    De juiste koersGrim & Hoon have seen the errors of their way and have discovered the beauty of the Laughter planet in daylight. Now it is up to Pipo and Ben to find a way to get the giant bug Dikta Tor to eat something different than flowers. On top of that they are also still looking to find some new sort of fuel to start their journey home.
