Three's definitely a crowd for parcel-post deliveryman Doug Heffernan (Kevin James), whose newly-widowed father-in-law Arthur (Jerry Stiller) has moved in with him and his wife Carrie (Leah Remini). Doug's no longer the king of his domain--the renovated basement that houses his beloved supersized TV set--let alone the king of Queens, where he lives. Can they all just get along?

E1Queasy RiderDoug wants to buy his own motorcycle after riding Richie's. Carrie finds out, and won't let Doug get one. He eventually gets one anyway without approval from Carrie. When Carrie finds out, she takes up one of her old hobbies of smoking. Doug then has to choose what he loves more: His bike or his wife. - Parent Trapped
E4Parent TrappedDeacon and Kelly ask Doug and Carrie to be the godparents of their two children, Kirby and Major. Doug instantly says yes, while Carrie thinks this might not be such a good idea. Meanwhile, Arthur's boss has to go away for a few days and puts Arthur in charge of the pretzel shop. - Doug Out
E6Doug OutDoug calls Arthur a demented old circus monkey and Arthur overhears it. Later Carrie is doing an impression of him and he walks in on that. To make up for it Doug decides to bring Arthur to a Mets game he won tickets for after being named employee of the month. While trying to make Arthur happy both Carrie and Doug wind up in jail. - Roamin' Holiday
E10Roamin' HolidayCarrie's (Leah Remini) friend Susie (played by Melissa Samuels) and her husband Mike (played by Ben Bode) are over for dinner at the Heffernan's and Carrie invites them to spend Thanksgiving weekend with them. Doug (Kevin James) hates her husband, so he convinces Spence (Patton Oswalt) to move out and stay with them so Carrie's friends can't. - Sparing Carrie
E11Sparing CarrieDoug's bowling team bowls just for fun and is financially supported by the local ale house, but now they threaten to no longer support them if they continue to be on a constant losing streak. Doug soon realizes Carrie is the problem so he removes her from the team making for an awkward household. - Party Favor
E13Party FavorDoug's cousin Danny is getting married but Danny does not have a best man. Carrie volunteers Doug as the best man. So now Doug is on the hook and worries about giving the speech and has to set up a bachelor party. Sadly Danny doesn't have too many friends so the party has many empty seats, and to top it off the stripper isn't 100% either! - The Shmenkmans
E18The ShmenkmansDoug and Carrie Heffernan (played by Kevin James and Leah Remini respectively) meet a new couple to be friends with. When their schedules get messed up, they invite Deacon and Kelly Palmer (played by Victor Williams and Merrin Dungey) over at the same time. Then they start to worry that Deacon and Kelly are stealing their friends from them. - Big Dougie
E21Big DougieAfter Deacon tells him he's a Big Brother, Doug feels bad because he doesn't give anything back to society and decides to become a Big Brother as well. Unfortunately for Doug, the boy that's assigned to him doesn't seem to be very enthusiastic, to say the least. Meanwhile, Carrie accidentally says 'I love you' when she's on the phone with Doug Pruzan, one of her bosses. - Soft Touch
E22Soft TouchIn spite of all Carrie's efforts to avoid them, annoying neighbors Tim and Dorothy manage to invite her and Doug for dinner. After a rather uncomfortable main course, Tim talks Doug into participating in his water filter "project" so he can get rich quick. Doug doesn't realize it's really a pyramid scheme, doesn't believe Carrie when she tells him and even gets Arthur involved in it as well. - Restaurant Row
E23Restaurant RowDoug and Carrie go to a new Italian restaurant where Carrie gets a wrong order and causes chaos there. Doug gets very upset because he loved the food and he wanted that place to be his and Carrie's new restaurant. Carrie bans Doug from there, so Doug has to start sneaking behind her back to eat there.
