The two struggle to get along as they set out to deliver humanitarian aid from Moscow to Rostov-on-Don for soldiers wounded in Chechnya. When criminals learn that the cargo includes powerful painkillers, the drivers find themselves under pursuit. Along the way, the truckers make an unexpected stop, and tensions rise as emergency services are finally drawn into the situation, turning a routine haul into a race against disaster.
