Debbie finds herself transported into the game 'Wonders in Letterland' where spelling is lost. To restore literacy, she must recover golden letters stolen by the wicked T.Bag and unlock a mysterious chest.

When Debbie tells him she needs the letter, they travel under the sea, where it has already been found by Seraphina the Seasprite. Debbie in the Land of ITeaming up with Indiana Inkspot, Debbie looks for the golden ink-stamp of the Inkers as well as the golden letter I. However, T. Bag uses a magic scarf to put Indiana under her spell and tell him to work against Debbie. Debbie in the Land of RRascally Roger of the good ship Rubarb takes the golden letters collected by Debbie and makes her his cabin boy. T.Bag has caught a cold, so it's up to T.Shirt to fetch the letters from Roger. Eventually, Debbie and T.Shirt team up to search for Roger's hidden treasure, which also includes the golden letter R. Debbie in the Land of VIn the land of V, Debbie meets fang-less Vic Vampire and the wise, vegetarian Vulture. T-Shirt finds the golden V for her on the tip of an arrow, but falls asleep on the job thanks to some sleeping violets. Taking advantage of the situation, T-Bag poses as T-Shirt so she can snatch all the golden letters Debby has collected in her purse. Debbie in the Land of OFife 'O Clock is having trouble keeping the clock of the land of O running. So, he asks T-Bag to grant him a new assistant. When Debbie arrives at his doorstep, he thinks she's been sent by the High T, and sets her to work immediately. Then T-Shirt pops down to the land of O to assist Fife, but is told he is no longer needed. - Debbie in the Land of EE9
Debbie in the Land of EThe Emperor of the land of E hasn't laughed in years. Debbie and T-Bag both enter a competition to make the Emperor chuckle because they want to win the necklace of golden E's the Emperor has around his neck. Debbie gets help from T-Shirt and Eric the Envoy in preparing her act, while T-Bag dresses as a jester and performs all on her own. But neither are good enough to put even the faintest of smile on his highness's lips. - Back to Square OneE10
Back to Square OneT. Bag is losing her powers because T. Shirt has stopped destroyed her tea plant and teamed up with Debbie. So the witch has to chase Debbie and T. Shirt all the way back to square one on foot. Once there, it is revealed Debbie is still missing several golden letters T (which are in T-Bag's teabag). Without them, Debbie is unable to complete the legend on the chest.
