Casey only accepts to keep his nose clean and avoid a major sentence when Darryl promises to help out, Casey is rewarded with a kiss-sealed love confession. Prison gang bully Courtney Freeman threatens Jamie, whom who wants by way of hazing to beat up Casey, who warns Zac, but after his shift the game is on. Just back after a breather, still mourning Adam, Darryl has to rescue the restaurant as Kyle warns Heath's clueless incompetence and firing Liam chased the chef and messed up the supply orders. His father Ian Harrington comes looking for him, just after Roo found Maddy, who ran away to rejoin Spencer, so they rush after his bus. Zac arranged that Casey is eligible for early release if he testifies against Courtney, but he refuses as Jamie would suffer dearly. Tamara claims she'll dump him unless he accepts. Darryl tells Nick to stay put and never doubt fraternal loyalty, whatever it takes. Nick duly returns Tamara's mean loyalty doubts by pointing out she deserts Casey in his darkest hour. Scolded 'pretty useless' by jealous Darren, Zac successfully plays his last trump to convince Casey to accept a deal which frees him and probably means the best chance for Jamie too: sharing his own experience during a six month sentence for weed sales to finance his studies. - Episode 5698E38

With Casey recovering, he asks Heath, who initially refuses because his spontaneous application was rejected on account of his drug past, yet reconsiders to keep Casey's seat warm and takes to it brilliantly. Nick gets Darryl to ask Liam why they can't collaborate anymore. Lial admits the theft, gives not motive and is bitterly fired. Episode 5699Furious that Tilda can't be expelled until she had three official warnings and her mother protects her blindly, even aggressively, Jett gets a pep-talk from Spencer to try probing for the bully's motive. Dex's second day is miserably too as his memory breaks down, next he discovers April also put up a brave front but feels lost without him. Casey applauds Tamara returning to school and questions her back-tracing just on account of the ridiculous uniform. Now Spencer proves himself Harvey's ideal deckhand and Maddy sort of makes up with Roo, Alf warns the newly weds not to sacrifice their life as a couple to substitute parenting. - Episode 5701E41
Episode 5701As Casey's deal seems to fall trough, Darryl suggests fleeing, but he chooses to do it by the book. At the last moment, Zac comes trough, confiding later into Natalie it cost him his job. Romeo bites his pain to keep up his alibi to hide his melanoma tests from Indi. Sid delivers the horror diagnosis: cancers stage four, widely spread, probably fatal in a matter of months. Seeing Heath did a good job running the gym in his absence, Romeo offers him a permanent contract, which is accepted as Casey isn't fired. Nick steps up in the restaurant, stopping Heath from helping himself to cash, and offers initially incredulous Tamara tutoring now she caved in on the uniform issue, which is passed on to the school board. Palmer and Gina hoped to surprise Jett with a formal adoption application, but his response is a tirade they can't do that to their 'real kids' and should rather adopt a good non-bully. - Episode 5703E43
Episode 5703After Kyle warns Liam may commit irreparable errors, Romeo finds him and sets his dark gloom in perspective by disclosing his own cancer death sentence. Darryl is tired of his tribe wining and brawling, so he lays down the law on his brothers and their girls. Kyle is to manage the restaurant, Heath the gym and later so-far jealously-suspicious ingrate Casey, Tamara to dissociate herself from the charges against Kyle. Next, Natalie is told to leave Darruyl alone, having chosen Zac, and take in Casey and Tamara. After Marilyn gently chases them kissing on the couch, the surrogate parents feel they must have 'the talk' same gender, only to find waiting wisdom came naturally to their wards. After Darryl tells Zac about Natalie's double game and she messes up a non-date, he duly dumps her too. She seeks another study partner, but phrases it so the charming student, actually a gentleman-mate of Dex's, assumes it's a date. Episode 5710Romeo is delighted with Heath's performance as acting gym manager and puts him in charge to get away for a few day with Indy, but still won't promise Sid to tell her. Model-behaved Spencer helps pull Maddie in line by telling he won't join her if she runs away from Harvey and Roo, which finally yields overdue apologies and a promise to take house rules seriously after she failed to take Alf's expulsion threat seriously. Even carrying some bottles for the party proves too heavy for the convalescing knave.
